Instrumentation Technician - XRF

Location: 3260 Production Way, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; onsite graveyard shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am, including weekends

Salary: Starting at CAD 20.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform XRF laboratory analyses independently according to established methods and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Document laboratory information in daily logs, equipment record books, and logbooks.
• Record and periodically interpret test results for timely review by senior colleagues.
• Maintain laboratory supplies through inventory management.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Conduct routine instrument checks, support SOP and validation documentation, and maintain safe, clean working conditions.

Requirements

• BSc or diploma in a science-related program, or equivalent experience or training.
• 1–3 years of relevant laboratory work experience.
• Ability to follow laboratory methods, SOPs, equipment instructions, and safety procedures.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Availability for the graveyard shift, including weekends.
