Trading Associate (Fixed Income)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work environment. Flexible hours may include evenings, with coverage of UK or US hours as required.

What you will do

• Rotate across global fixed income trading desks, backing up traders across emerging markets, FX, rates, and credit.
• Build relationships with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, and sales teams.
• Improve how trading information is sourced, consumed, and distributed to support liquidity access and best execution.
• Work with systematic trading, technology, investment operations, and trading solutions teams to improve workflows through technology and analytics.
• Collaborate with trading assistants on efficiency, scalability, training, development, and front-to-back trade processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with capital markets.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, and travel to internal and external meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or another programming language.
• Experience with Pandas.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and analytics platforms.
