What you will do

• Design, develop, and prototype analytics solutions and tools supporting compliance and business processing.
• Create automated approaches to streamline compliance processes and enhance existing capabilities.
• Research, integrate, and validate machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions in an R&D environment.
• Develop analytical models, including Random Forest models and feature development.
• Establish performance metrics and implement monitoring capabilities for tools, processes, and data workflows.
• Document solutions and review technical documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are required.
• Twenty years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency with Java, Scala, Python, Lucene, JEXL, SQL, and JSON.
• Experience building and monitoring machine learning models, developing in Linux, and using scikit-learn.
• Experience with Ghostmachine Map/Reduce, GM Learn, Jupyter Notebooks, development environments, Git-based tools, Jira, Confluence, and agency compliance systems and standards.

Nice to have

• Data science background and experience implementing machine learning systems.
• Experience with AWS, Spark, and exploratory data analysis.
• Experience with agentic AI, large language models, machine learning feature development, and other machine learning techniques.
