Test Maintenance Technician (Interviewer 1) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia; onsite with no remote work available

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors.
• Clean and replace consumable components, including contactor pins, sockets, and indexers.
• Calibrate test-system instruments such as voltage sources, digital pins, and parametric measurement units.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software-related test-cell issues.
• Support failure correlation, data collection, root-cause analysis, failure analysis, and yield improvement with Test Engineers.
• Prepare and maintain test-related documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with handler or prober mechanics and thermal control systems.
• Experience supporting high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, initiative, attention to detail, and procedural discipline.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATE platforms such as UltraFLEX, V93K, or T2000.
• Experience with Epson, JHT, or Vitrox handlers.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, test limits, and schematics.
