Business Process Support (Fintech)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; office-based

Compensation: $24.00–$44.50 USD per hour, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Resolve complex client-servicing escalations during onboarding and ongoing account management.
• Provide advanced technical support for POS terminals, payment gateways, and VAR integrations.
• Analyze statements and fees, reprice accounts, maintain accounts, and investigate billing, chargeback, and funding issues.
• Guide clients through PCI compliance, system usage, and issue-prevention best practices.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and third-party providers to support activation, retention, and revenue protection.
• Identify root causes, improve service processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience in merchant services or a related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of back-office operations, including interchange qualification analysis, ACH reject resolution, and compliance-related projects.
• Knowledge of third-party gateway and payment-processing platforms, with experience using Clover products and platforms.
• Must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States; hirify.global does not sponsor immigration benefits or work permission.
