Pursuits Specialist (Marketing)

What you will do

• Provide production and administrative support for business development and marketing activities.
• Maintain business development databases, client contacts, references, lead lists, assignments, events, and activity schedules.
• Gather data for pre-qualification packages and maintain employee qualification resumes and project sheets.
• Prepare and edit proposals, qualifications, interview boards, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, mailers, and other promotional materials.
• Assist with capture-plan meetings, lead research and qualification, job walks, and pre-qualification meetings.
• Help host and coordinate video tapings, exhibits, seminars, open houses, client parties, and community events.

Requirements

• High school diploma with business school training or equivalent.
• At least two years of administrative experience.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database, and other computer applications.
• Proficient verbal and written English language skills required.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, reliability, dependability, flexibility, interpersonal skills, and ability to work overtime as required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• One to three years of marketing, RFP, or RFQ experience, ideally in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience, primarily InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite experience, primarily PowerPoint.
• Advanced degree or certification.
