Senior Strategist - Investment Product Specialist

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work environment

Base salary: $140,000 per year, plus competitive commission and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Serve as the product expert for assigned investment strategies and support sales, consultant relations, relationship management, and client service teams.
• Deliver in-depth product presentations to clients, consultants, and prospects, with travel of up to 50% as required.
• Conduct competitive analysis and assess product strengths and weaknesses to improve market positioning.
• Develop strategic plans for existing products and contribute to new product development initiatives with distribution and investment teams.
• Oversee investment marketing materials, product profiles, RFP responses, client reporting packages, and quarterly performance commentary.
• Develop training materials, lead strategy training sessions, and monitor performance composites with the performance team.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of investment management experience, preferably including in-depth investment product management.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of capital markets and active investment processes.
• Ability to analyze performance attribution reports and translate them into written commentary.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Appropriate licensing and registrations in accordance with MFS licensing policy; willingness to travel for conferences, sales presentations, and client meetings.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CFA charter.
• Ability to speak multiple languages.
• Understanding of global institutional, US retail, and non-US retail marketplaces.
