Senior Investment Professional - Capital Markets

Location: Must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza, Columbus, Ohio, 43215; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $153,000–$255,000 annually

What you will do

• Source, design, structure, and execute capital markets transactions, including term funding, securitizations, structured solutions, and flow agreements.
• Translate enterprise objectives, asset/liability needs, and risk appetite into funding and investment strategies.
• Conduct due diligence, negotiate transaction terms, oversee documentation, and evaluate risk, return, liquidity, ALM, capital, and earnings impacts.
• Review partnerships and portfolios, monitor interest rate, credit, securitized, and funding markets, and track industry and competitor developments.
• Brief senior management, build structuring and governance playbooks, and develop CRM solutions and KPI scorecards for sourcing partners.
• Represent Capital Markets with internal forums and external partners, improve processes with risk and middle office teams, and mentor analysts and investment professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, structured finance, or buy-side trading.
• Experience leading complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of fixed income and structured products, with strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must reside within 35 miles of the Columbus office.
• This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or related qualification.
• CFA designation.
• Insurance, ALM, or balance-sheet experience.
