Senior Technical Applications Engineer

What you will do

• Translate customer requirements into practical, reliable, and cost-effective engineered solutions.
• Support customised Engineering-to-Order products from concept through installation.
• Read, analyse, and interpret customer specifications, data sheets, drawings, and schematics.
• Use CAD software to develop and support application solutions.
• Interact with customers and provide a high level of technical service.
• Prioritise multiple tasks while meeting sales objectives and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Technical education; a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in application engineering or inside sales is desired.
• Experience operating CAD software; Solid Edge is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, data sheets, and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to learn internal business software.
• Strong customer communication, presentation, organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics applications engineering, or controls.
