Senior Analog Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite — remote work is not available

Annual pay range: $135,000–$160,000, plus eligibility for bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Design, simulate, verify, and optimize transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.
• Develop precision references, bias circuits, operational amplifiers, comparators, LDO regulators, oscillators, timing circuits, and data converter support circuits.
• Design analog circuits for power management and isolation-related applications.
• Support IC floorplanning and collaborate with layout engineers on robust analog layout implementation.
• Analyze silicon measurements, conduct laboratory evaluations, and drive design improvements.
• Support product qualification, characterization, and reliability testing.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, or a B.S. degree with equivalent demonstrated technical expertise.
• Deep understanding of CMOS device physics and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and standard circuit simulation tools.
• Practical knowledge of semiconductor process technologies and reliability considerations.
• Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with GaN device applications and driver design.
• Experience with isolated IC design methodologies and high-voltage power management circuits.
