What you will do
- Lead complex forensic accounting engagements involving litigation, arbitration, disputes, and financial investigations.
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Develop, review, and challenge damages, quantum of claim, valuation, and loss-of-profit calculations.
- Lead the preparation and review of expert witness and advisory reports.
- Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, profitability, client expectations, and financial performance.
- Support practice growth through business development, recruitment, process improvement, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent recognised accountancy qualification.
- Significant experience in forensic accounting and proven ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships.
- Experience leading the preparation and review of expert and advisory reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to delegate, review work, provide technical guidance, and balance high-level analysis with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and a flexible, adaptable approach to work.
Nice to have
- Expert witness training, Relativity, advanced Excel, or valuation training.
- Strong experience in business valuations and complex quantum assessments.
- An established network in the legal, insurance, or advisory markets.
- Business development experience, foreign language skills, or a legal background.
