Maintenance Technician (52434)

Location: Honolulu, HI, USA; onsite at McCully Circle Apartments

Compensation: up to $25 per hour plus a complimentary one-bedroom apartment

What you will do

• Complete work orders within designated time frames and turn over vacated apartments within five days of move-out.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to maintain health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, heating, locking, door, and related building systems.
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior building surfaces, and perform manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, and other building systems.
• Document completed work and material procurement, maintain a clean work environment, and participate in technical, safety, and operational training.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous Maintenance Technician experience.
• High school diploma required.
• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Availability for Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM work and on-call emergency coverage.
