Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; 100% onsite at the client location, five days per week.

What you will do

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand client challenges and define solution requirements.
• Contribute across the full system delivery lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and validation.
• Lead requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and collaborative working sessions.
• Support solution design through data modeling, interface definitions, integrations, and process or state flows.
• Analyze current-state data, processes, and systems; define future states and identify solution options through gap analysis.
• Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and coordinate integration testing and UAT.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or in a similar IT role.
• Experience with multi-system solutions, integrations, enterprise integration challenges, and system or data diagrams.
• Experience writing requirements and user stories for Agile or iterative delivery teams.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud-based solutions, distributed systems, and basic SQL querying.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, plus strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or public-sector environments.
• Digital product delivery or consulting experience in a client-facing advisory role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Salesforce integrations, or related certifications.
