Senior Software Product Manager (AI)

Location: East Syracuse, NY, USA; onsite role

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually, plus a target 10% profit-sharing bonus and 401(k) match of up to 8%.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for semiconductor Fault Detection and Classification software products.
• Drive product growth through AI/ML-enabled detection, classification, prediction, and decision-support capabilities.
• Conduct discovery with process engineers, equipment engineers, integration engineers, and fab IT to identify workflows and unmet needs.
• Partner with data science, engineering, UX, QA, DevOps, and sensor hardware teams to define requirements and deliver releases.
• Translate sensor and instrumentation capabilities into software value propositions and influence sensor product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Marketing, and Support on launches, adoption, and strategic customer engagements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years at a senior level, in B2B software.
• Demonstrated success growing existing products through innovation, adoption, expansion, and improved customer outcomes.
• Experience scoping, shipping, and scaling AI/ML-powered capabilities in B2B software products.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup methodologies.
• Strong customer discovery, written communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working with hardware, firmware, or sensor teams and translating physical-world data into software value.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor manufacturing experience, especially front-end fab operations, process control, equipment data, or Fault Detection and Classification.
• Familiarity with SEMI standards, SECS/GEM, EDA Interface A, MES integration, and large-scale time-series sensor data.
• Experience with on-premise, edge, and cloud deployment models in regulated or high-availability environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
