Logistics Coordinator (Air & Ocean Operations)

What you will do

• Create daily tracking reports for air export, ocean import, and over-the-road operations, including weekend coverage.
• Coordinate port, terminal, airport, carrier, freight forwarder, and customs broker activities to confirm on-time departures.
• Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments; validate import documentation and proof of delivery.
• Manage transload warehouse capacity, utilization, dwell time, on-time transload performance, and damage rates.
• Schedule and dispatch truckload outbound orders through a transportation management system, optimizing routing and load consolidation.
• Handle shipment exceptions, claims, documentation, escalations, and compliance with international trade, hazardous materials, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of logistics coordination experience focused on international air and ocean freight operations.
• Hands-on experience with international air, ocean, and over-the-road freight forwarding, transload warehouse operations, and truckload dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of international freight regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, TMS, and WMS, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• English required; weekend work may be required.
