Information Security Specialists (Intermediate/Senior) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida, USA; non-remote. Relocation incentive available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, procedures, and cybersecurity program plans.
• Support Risk Management Framework, system authorization, certification, accreditation, and information assurance activities.
• Conduct security assessments and identify risks, vulnerabilities, violations, and compliance gaps.
• Track and remediate vulnerabilities, IAVMs, ICVMs, and Plans of Action and Milestones.
• Support continuous monitoring, audits, inspections, compliance reporting, and contingency planning.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, systems administration, and operations teams to improve security posture and mission readiness.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoW Secret Clearance are required.
• Intermediate level: 4+ years of cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security experience; senior level: 8+ years.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is required, such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification (MD-102).
• Experience with RMF, vulnerability management, cybersecurity operations, security authorization, and compliance initiatives.
• Baseline certification must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, IT service management, or a related technical discipline.
• CySA+, CASP+, CISSP, CISM, or other advanced cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with Windows security hardening, ACAS, Trellix, eMASS, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, DISA STIGs, and DoD RMF.
• Experience supporting DoD environments, mission-critical systems, VIP customers, technical documentation, or knowledge management initiatives.
• Experience leading small teams and supporting collaboration and professional development.
