Mortgage Loan Officer (Fintech)

Location: 1700 Hover St, Longmont, Colorado, United States

Salary: $66,000 annual base salary plus a 3% annual target bonus and unlimited earning potential.

What you will do

• Build relationships with members, potential members, Realtors, and external business contacts across Longmont and Boulder County.
• Respond to mortgage inquiries, take applications, and follow up with applicants.
• Collect and analyze member financial information, assets, income, and required Desktop Underwriter data.
• Assess financing circumstances and recommend mortgage products suited to members' financial goals.
• Review competing lender offers, collect appraisal fees, and refer members to relevant internal departments.
• Participate in events, seminars, committees, education, and continuing education while following Bank Secrecy Act requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mortgage industry origination or mortgage sales experience.
• Knowledge of FNMA, CHFA, FHA, and VA products and underwriting requirements.
• Understanding of nonprofit down-payment assistance programs and Desktop Underwriter.
• Strong external sales, networking, communication, PC, Excel, database, and web skills.
• NMLS registration in good standing and a driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of mortgage experience, including 2+ years in mortgage sales origination.
