What you will do
- Support the protection and enforcement of ’s patent, trademark, and copyright portfolio.
- Conduct patent and trademark searches, legal research, and online monitoring for potential malfeasance.
- Maintain IP dockets and file applications and prosecution materials with the USPTO and Copyright Office.
- Review and respond to correspondence from patent offices and foreign counsel.
- Track filings and IP projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Prepare presentations on IP updates and other legal matters and respond to member IP-related questions.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of patents, copyrights, trademarks, and related intellectual property matters.
- Experience with domestic and foreign patent prosecution and maintenance.
- Knowledge of legal search methodologies and enforcement protocols.
- Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to different needs.
