Technical Office Engineer (Civil)

Location: Onsite in 10th of Ramadan City, Cairo, Egypt

What you will do

• Prepare, coordinate, and review structural shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for bridge works.
• Develop temporary works designs in line with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Evaluate technical material submittals and prepare purchase requests for permanent materials.
• Coordinate construction methodologies and participate in constructability reviews with the Construction Manager.
• Support site teams with method statements, lifting plans, procedures, and other construction documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, site, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–7 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Mandatory hands-on experience preparing structural shop drawings for bridges.
• Knowledge of temporary works, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Civil 3D or BIM experience is advantageous.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with railway, metro, or LRT bridge projects.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and best practices.
