Senior Full Stack Engineer (Web Focused)

Location: Hybrid work in Belgrade, Serbia

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor web components for Ricardo’s selling inventory workflows.
• Help private and professional sellers list and sell items faster while improving their earnings.
• Shape API contracts with backend engineers using consumer-driven API development.
• Troubleshoot issues across backend services, databases, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
• Improve resilience, performance, scalability, accessibility, and security across the web stack.
• Contribute to technical direction, engineering standards, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of web development experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• End-to-end ownership across multiple layers of the stack.
• 2+ years of backend development experience with Java or Go.
• Experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Creative, adaptable, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jest for unit and integration testing and Playwright for UI testing.
• Experience with large distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.
