Software Development Engineer 2 (Python/Angular): Building and maintaining full-stack applications and platform infrastructure that support software monitoring, operations, and continuous improvement across Amadeus with an accent on Python, Angular, cloud deployment, and application reliability. Focus on designing three-tier applications, integrating AI initiatives, and developing reliable solutions with Kubernetes, Azure, MongoDB, and continuous delivery technologies.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and Angular.
- Evolve platform infrastructure and improve the reliability and documentation of solutions used across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop monitoring and operational tools, including products such as the Ambrosia functional monitoring framework and the Forge Azure application platform.
- Collaborate with users, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Agile team members to deliver operational improvements.
- Contribute to AI initiatives and identify opportunities to improve products and team workflows.
- Share knowledge, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience developing full-stack applications with Python-based technologies and three-tier architecture covering web, application, and database layers.
- Good knowledge of at least one of Angular and TypeScript, Python, MongoDB, or AI technologies.
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development and Agile methodologies.
- Experience collaborating in a software development environment and participating in technical discussions.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, OpenShift, or Java.
