Transportation Load Planner

Location: Newberry, SC, USA

Compensation: USD 24–28 per hour

What you will do

• Optimize daily load planning using Transportation Management and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Plan and coordinate transportation services to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Use capacity-balancing tools to determine truck locations and available customer loads.
• Manage load allocation, route optimization, regional planning adjustments, cancellations, and reassignments.
• Make decisions regarding late pickups, deliveries, delays, service failures, and other shipment changes.
• Coordinate shipment execution and provide timely updates to customers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems.
• At least one year of prior experience in load planning and supply chain operations preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
