Senior Project Planning & Controls Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Site-based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, at BHIG and customer sites, with occasional travel

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.
• Align engineering, procurement, and construction activities with project timelines.
• Prepare budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, monthly cost reports, and earned value analyses.
• Maintain progress measurement systems, performance dashboards, and project controls governance.
• Report schedule and cost performance to customers and stakeholders and address concerns against contractual requirements.
• Assess schedule and cost impacts of risks and approved change requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in project planning and controls for oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, cost control systems, and EPC execution practices.
• Knowledge of international and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Advanced scheduling, resource planning, cost control, earned value management, risk analysis, and mitigation skills.
• Analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and ability to lead through influence.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent.
