Custody Service Tax Expert (Banking)

What you will do

• Manage custody tax operations and products, including RAS, quick refunds, and standard refunds.
• Handle the full customer onboarding lifecycle and perform periodic customer KYC activities.
• Conduct due diligence for sub-custodians and suppliers, maintain supplier relationships, and manage related projects.
• Maintain current internal and external account, product, and documentation information.
• Lead or participate in new product development projects and cooperate with other teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Perform daily reconciliations, controls, monitoring, statistics, reporting, and brokerage middle-office tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related business field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a custodian bank.
• Knowledge of the global custody industry and expertise in at least one area: settlement, corporate actions, or tax.
• Experience with custody tax operations, KYC or account management, middle-office activities, product management, or product design is advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and expertise using S.W.I.F.T.; SQL, Access, and Python are valuable.
• Fluent English is essential, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Chinese and other languages are advantageous.
