Automotive Technicians

Location: Lincolnwood, Illinois, United States

Pay: $20.50–$47.50 per hour, based on experience, ASE certifications, and training.

What you will do

• Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
• Perform complex repairs involving engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and related systems.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors.
• Complete repairs and maintenance according to brand standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following safety protocols.
• Coordinate with the service team to support workflow and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting.
• ASE certifications.
• Understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, electrical systems, and brakes.
• Ability to follow procedures, take direction from senior technicians, and work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to improve diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
