Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location: 1080 West Price Blvd, North Port, Florida, United States; onsite automotive service facility

Compensation: USD 35–45 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles using automotive knowledge, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete accurate, honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns with other technicians and the service department.
• Communicate repair needs clearly and help meet deadlines and hourly goals.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• ASE certification preferred, or a plan to achieve certification.
• Strong communication, professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to lift or move over 100 pounds occasionally, work in tight spaces and under raised vehicles, stand or walk for most of the day, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and use a computer.
