Automotive Apprentice / General Service Technician (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 8250 E 121st Street South, Bixby, Oklahoma, United States

Salary: USD 15–18 per hour, plus shop and team performance bonuses

What you will do

• Learn and perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs alongside a certified or Master Automotive Technician.
• Repair and service engines, steering and suspension systems, automotive HVAC systems, and other vehicle components.
• Perform state inspections and routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
• Complete clear and thorough multi-point vehicle inspections for customers.
• Work with other technicians to solve technical problems, meet deadlines, and prepare safe, reliable vehicles.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, organization, and productivity in a high-volume shop.

Requirements

• Strong motivation to build a career in mechanical service and willingness to learn.
• Automotive program attendance or recent graduation is preferred.
• Some vehicle repair knowledge and experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to lift or move over 50 pounds occasionally, work in tight spaces and overhead positions, stand or walk most of the day, use hand tools, and navigate a computer.
