Mulesoft Architect (MuleSoft)

Location: Reston, Virginia, USA; onsite work at a client location or hirify.global office may be required, with remote work available when compatible with client and hirify.global needs.

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver enterprise systems, integrations, and scalable MuleSoft solutions across the full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Act as a technical advisor, manage architectural scope, and communicate decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture standards, best practices, reusable accelerators, and high-quality technical deliverables.
• Mentor architects and developers through architecture reviews, communities of practice, and knowledge sharing.
• Support technical pre-sales through solution design, estimations, and delivery scoping.

Requirements

• High-level architectural experience with MuleSoft 4.x and project experience delivering MuleSoft integrations.
• 10+ years of software development experience and extensive knowledge of integration patterns.
• Experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio, designing APIs, publishing to Anypoint Exchange, and using RAML.
• Applied experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs and integration of enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, and Oracle ERP.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures, design patterns, monitoring tools, relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise security practices and production LLM solutions, including prompt engineering, MCP, RAG, agentic AI architectures, conversational UX, prompt evaluation metrics, and agentic frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Practical experience with LangChain, n8n, Pydantic, vibe coding, and multi-agent systems.
