Sr Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: US - Massachusetts; on-site working required

Annual base salary: $28.70–$43.05

hirify.global is a medical device company developing wearable drug delivery products, including the Omnipod insulin management platform.

What you will do

• Procure, assemble, and test electromechanical products and systems.
• Build embedded electronic systems using SMT components, hand tools, and rework techniques.
• Set up and operate laboratory test equipment to evaluate assemblies under simulated operating conditions.
• Follow test procedures, document results, and present test data using Excel or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree/vocational technical diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience assembling prototypes and supporting development systems.
• Knowledge of test protocols, basic data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Proficiency with office software, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to work on-site in Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with soldering irons, hot-air stations, wire crimping, and rework of BGA and QFN components.
• Experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
