Senior PR/SERE High Risk Training Instructor (HRTI)

Location: On-site at the client site near Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, United States, including BLDG 1116, Sneads Ferry, NC. Support may extend across the Southeastern United States and U.S. East Coast.

What you will do

• Deliver Full Spectrum Level C SERE and personnel recovery training for USSOCOM, MARFORSOC, and the Marine Raider Training Center.
• Develop, update, and present course materials covering the Code of Conduct, preparation and planning, survival, evasion, resistance, escape, and recovery procedures.
• Execute academic role-play laboratories, field training exercises, resistance training laboratories, and simulated captivity scenarios.
• Prepare training schedules, areas, materials, student assessments, staff evaluations, training reports, and after-action reports.
• Coach, mentor, and remediate students while supporting the development of newly assigned contractor, active-duty, and DoD civilian personnel.
• Contribute to course improvement, doctrine development, technology assessments, instructor development, and range safety operations.

Requirements

• Senior Instructor rating from the Marine Raider Training Center, based on instructor performance and a knowledge and skills board.
• At least 12 months of independent Full Spectrum Level C SERE instruction and at least 12 months in an assigned HRTI section.
• DoD instructor certification and compliance with MRTC PR/SERE certified instructor standards.
• Graduate of an approved DoD FSLC SERE course, or equivalent SERE and detention training documented on a DD214, or willingness to complete the MARFORSOC PR/SERE FSLC course.
• At least three years of U.S. military service with a general discharge under honorable conditions or higher.
• Must complete the MARFORSOC PR/SERE Course Unique Instructor Training and accompanying Individual Training Standards immediately upon hire.
