Associate Product Specialist

Location: Onsite in Newark, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $31.25–$33.65 per hour, plus potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Assist with promotional roadmaps, promotion cost simulations, POS performance reviews, and forecast exception reporting.
• Coordinate product setup information with the Japan Business Unit and maintain product specifications, model details, transition timing, and status.
• Track competitive product launches and campaigns, demonstrate product functions, and report findings to the product manager.
• Analyze POS trends against sales forecasts and prepare data presentations for monthly meetings and account discussions.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports covering market size, market share, pricing trends, competitive performance, and promotion history.
• Support RFAs, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, sample ordering, and event or show execution with product management and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, time-management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with Japan Business Units.
• Ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours when needed and travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight travel.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States required.

Nice to have

• 0–2 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry.
• Experience supporting product management, sales, or marketing teams.
• Receptiveness to feedback and a desire to learn and improve.
