Location: Onsite in Columbia, South Carolina, United States

Hourly wage: $35.00–$43.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Provide member service, identify needs, support purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and promote company products and services.
• Sell optical products and services, including measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses.
• Complete eyewear and contact lens orders, verify prescription information, collect payments, and maintain required documentation.
• Perform and record optometric pretest results and process payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Receive, stock, organize, price, and secure optical merchandise while maintaining product displays and the sales floor.
• Handle claims, returns, shrink, damaged goods, paperwork, logs, and optical-area compliance according to company procedures.

Requirements

• Dual licensing as an optician is required for the role.
• Ability to assist members with eyewear, contact lenses, prescriptions, payments, and optical services.
• Ability to measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses and perform optometric pretests.
• Ability to operate cash registers and related equipment and complete required forms and records.
• Work is based at the Sam’s Club location in Columbia, South Carolina, United States.
