Data Engineer IV (Snowflake/Databricks)

Salary: $110,100–$143,100 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support secure, scalable data solutions.
• Build and maintain data solutions that meet industry regulatory, audit, and security requirements.
• Author technical specifications, detailed designs, and technical documentation.
• Perform peer code and design reviews and ensure production-ready quality and maintainability.
• Lead complex projects from planning through deployment while collaborating with architects, technical colleagues, and business partners.
• Provide engineering leadership and mentorship, contribute to technical strategy, and participate in Agile/Scrum delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of professional data engineering experience and 3 years performing as a subject matter expert.
• Professional experience with Python and PySpark on Databricks.
• Experience with Snowflake, big data technologies, Azure cloud environments, scalable systems, and advanced SQL.
• Expert knowledge of data warehousing, databases, ETL/ELT, business intelligence, data governance, object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• This role is currently not eligible for visa sponsorship. Availability for on-call work and occasional travel is required.
