SEO Strategist (SEO)

Location: Remote from the United States, Canada, or South Africa

hirify.global is expanding its marketing division to support PPC and SEO clients across multifamily, B2B, and technical industries.

What you will do

• Own organic search strategy for a portfolio of clients and build 90-day, six-month, and annual growth roadmaps.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, competitive analyses, keyword mapping, and prioritized implementation plans using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
• Implement on-page SEO updates in CMS platforms, primarily WordPress, including metadata, headers, alt text, internal links, redirects, and schema markup.
• Create SEO briefs and content outlines, review drafts, and oversee local SEO, backlink research, and authority-building activities.
• Track rankings, crawl health, Core Web Vitals, traffic, conversions, and revenue using Ahrefs, GA4, and Google Search Console.
• Direct SEO specialists, content writers, and link-building resources while coordinating priorities with the Marketing PM and supporting sales calls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment managing multiple active clients.
• Demonstrated organic growth results supported by first-party data, including traffic, leads, or rankings.
• Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Experience implementing metadata, schema, redirects, and internal linking across different websites.
• Ability to conduct keyword research, connect SEO strategy to business goals, and explain recommendations clearly to clients and executives.
• Experience overseeing SEO execution teams, maintaining deliverable quality, and collaborating effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• International SEO or multilingual website experience.
• Conversion rate optimization knowledge and experience with multifamily, real estate, or high-intent lead generation.
• Experience joining sales calls and collaborating with developers on indexing, redirects, and page speed.
• Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, or Asana.
