Senior Account Executive, PR & Communications

Location: Remote or hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, Boston, or Chicago

What you will do

• Execute media relations, executive communications, and technical and digital storytelling programs for client accounts.
• Develop proactive company stories and contributed articles for executives.
• Manage social media strategies and influencer marketing campaigns that amplify brand narratives.
• Own major components of integrated communications programs across approximately four accounts.
• Project-manage account teams and larger communications projects, delegating work as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary client contact and mentor junior teammates in public relations, integrated communications, and digital storytelling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience at an integrated agency or startup technology company, with significant experience in PR, social media, and digital marketing.
• Proven media relations expertise, including high-impact placements and proactive storytelling.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including translating complex technical concepts into accessible narratives.
• Experience managing account teams or large-scale integrated communications projects and delegating tasks.
• Ability to connect earned media efforts with digital marketing campaigns; foundational SEO and content distribution knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong client communication, collaboration, teaching, and delivery skills in fast-paced environments.
