Lead Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Noida, India; hybrid workplace model

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of backend systems in APL.
• Architect scalable, secure, high-performance solutions while moving toward cloud-native approaches on Microsoft Azure.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and agile ways of working.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders to deliver maintainable functionality for investment management applications.
• Drive code quality through unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD, Git workflows, and engineering standards.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs and develop sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, architecture patterns, clean code, and pragmatic problem solving.
• Solid experience with C#/.NET and backend systems, including APIs, services, and integrations.
• Familiarity with REST or streaming APIs, messaging concepts, automated testing, CI/CD, and Git.
• Clear communication, independent problem solving, and effective collaboration in an international environment.

Nice to have

• FinTech or regulated-industry experience.
• Exposure to vector-based or functional languages.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Acquaintance with AI tools and ML.
