Fintech Regulatory Specialist (Fintech)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work with required in-person attendance at the São Paulo office

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain audit-proof compliance frameworks for Central Bank licensing pipelines, including SCFI and Consórcio.
• Architect and automate data infrastructure for mandatory BCB reporting through STA, Unicad, Sisorf, and Document 2080.
• Oversee reporting operations, data integrity, and long-term reliability of regulatory systems.
• Advise Product, Tech, Finance, and Compliance on complex regulatory scenarios and scalable strategies.
• Research evolving BCB frameworks, including CP 108/BaaS, using AI and modern technology tools.
• Represent the company in industry forums, public consultations, and market policy discussions while mentoring less experienced lawyers.

Requirements

• Law degree, 8+ years of post-graduation experience, and active OAB registration.
• At least 5 years of specialized regulatory experience in fintechs, financial institutions, or top-tier financial law practices.
• Strong knowledge of the Brazilian Financial System and BCB regulations, including SCD/SCFI, SBP, Consórcio, BaaS, and Law 11.795/2008.
• Experience or familiarity with STA, Unicad, and Sisorf regulatory reporting channels, as well as G Suite and AI tools such as Claude.
• Ability to build scalable, audit-proof compliance workflows, provide technical guidance, mentor junior team members, and advise executive leadership.
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced or fluent English are mandatory.

• Postgraduate or Master's degree in Regulatory Law, Banking Law, or Financial Markets.
