Estimator / QS (Commercial)

Location: Remote from Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines; Australian working hours and Australian public holidays.

Salary: AUD 1,700–2,200 per month

What you will do

• Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for commercial construction projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and material measurements for materials, labour, and subcontractor scopes.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and cost considerations and support accurate tender submissions.
• Support budgeting, cost planning, feasibility assessments, variation pricing, and cost analysis.
• Source, compare, and benchmark supplier and subcontractor quotations using procurement workflows.
• Maintain estimating records, pricing schedules, supplier databases, and project documentation in BuildTrend and related systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Cost Planner in commercial construction.
• Strong experience with material take-offs and quantity calculations.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and commercial skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
• BuildTrend experience is required or strongly preferred; familiarity with ProcurePro, Microsoft Excel, and commercial construction estimating software is relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience with EstimateOne.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or multi-residential projects.
• Understanding of Australian construction contracts and tender processes.
• Experience supporting procurement and supplier engagement.
