Product Manager (AI/Fintech)

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including outcomes, metrics, value-prioritised backlogs, and precise acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical designs with engineering across system boundaries, APIs, data consistency, latency, scalability, security, recovery, and third-party payment rails.
• Make trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience, and defend decisions with engineering, compliance, and operations stakeholders.
• Translate licensing, CDD/KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy constraints into product requirements and launch gates.
• Define responsible AI use cases, including decision boundaries, human review, evaluation methods, uncertainty handling, and traceability to source records.
• Coordinate launches behind feature flags and work across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end, with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Solid system-design foundation covering boundaries, datastores, queues and workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency, and consistency.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and the ability to define offline, online, and human-feedback evaluations.
• Strong English communication is required; English is the main working language across global teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, fast-moving international team.

Nice to have

• Engineering or highly technical product management background.
• Zero-to-one product experience or experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
• Experience defining evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems, AI UX, and failure handling.
• Southeast Asian market experience.
