Quality Supervisor - Nights (Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead daily in-process and final product quality inspections across production lines.
• Supervise quality technicians, inspectors, and team leads, including work planning, training, performance management, and corrective action.
• Maintain the Quality Management System, document control, CAPA processes, internal audits, and audit readiness.
• Analyze quality metrics and trends, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance to resolve non-conformities and improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, safety, and industry requirements and support external audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality assurance or quality control within manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience leading, training, and developing quality inspectors and technicians while enforcing safety and procedural standards.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 and standards including UL, CE, and RoHS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with knowledge of production and manufacturing operations.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills and valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume or regulated manufacturing, especially automotive, electronics, or energy storage.
• ASQ CQE or CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, hazardous materials handling, or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Experience with battery manufacturing, statistical quality tools, structured root cause analysis, QMS/MES/ERP systems, Excel, Power BI, or Minitab.
