Quality Supervisor - Nights (EV Batteries)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States; night shift

What you will do

• Manage quality control plan inspections, issue follow-up, employee activities, and break schedules.
• Maintain quality processes, support ISO quality management activities, and represent quality on the manufacturing floor.
• Conduct failure analysis and execute corrective action plans for process-quality issues.
• Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate quality technicians and inspectors.
• Interview, hire, train, assign, and assess team members while resolving employee concerns according to company policies.
• Develop process-flow improvements focused on efficiency, ergonomics, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; a technical bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment involving batteries, electronic components, or quality management.
• Experience with quality tools including SPC, FTA, and FMEA.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills required; valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction required.

Nice to have

• One to two or more years of people-leader experience.
• Manufacturing or SAP experience.
• Familiarity with TS16949 automotive quality standards or ISO9001.
• Ability to work independently, in teams, and under pressure.
