Technical Product Manager (AI/Fintech)

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including metrics, backlog prioritization, and defining clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape technical designs, focusing on system boundaries, scalability, and money-movement correctness.
• Make difficult trade-offs between speed, cost, reliability, and user experience while defending decisions to stakeholders.
• Integrate regulated constraints like KYC, sanctions screening, and data residency as core product requirements.
• Apply AI strategically, defining human-in-the-loop processes and evaluation metrics for LLM-based features.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Finance to ship features behind flags and clear regulatory gates.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Taipei, Taiwan.
• Work Format: Hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the local office.
• Language: Strong English communication skills are required.
• Significant experience owning complex technical products in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance.
• Solid understanding of system design, including APIs, datastores, and failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and ability to frame features for evaluation.

Nice to have

• Engineering or highly technical PM background.
• Experience with zero-to-one product development.
• Background in shipping AI-heavy consumer products.
• Familiarity with the Southeast Asian (SEA) market.
