AI Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Location: Primarily remote with 2-3 onsite visits per month at the Columbia, Maryland office. Candidates must be based in Washington, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or Delaware.

hirify.global is recruiting for a contract-to-permanent data science opportunity with a customer in the healthcare provider sector.

What you will do

• Lead data mining and extraction activities and apply algorithms to derive business insights.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions across the enterprise.
• Apply AI techniques to business goals while managing data constraints and limited resources.
• Synthesize analytical findings for product teams, business stakeholders, customers, and senior executives.
• Translate business priorities into data science deliverables and robust, scalable software.
• Mentor junior data scientists and establish AI, ML, and data science best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least eight years of data science experience.
• Professional experience in a healthcare provider environment with deep knowledge of provider data, data accuracy, and interactions with claims and claims platforms.
• Expertise in creating LOMs for adapting AI to the current technology environment.
• Strong Salesforce experience and required knowledge of Facets.
