What you will do

• Implement quality control systems for lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes.
• Perform incoming-materials quality control in the cell production warehouse.
• Inspect cell parts, active battery materials, and chemical materials for safety and performance.
• Analyze materials input and output data to reduce defects and improve battery performance.
• Support materials audits of cell manufacturing processes and help maintain production quality.
• Use required personal protective equipment, which may include chemical-resistant suits and respirators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with quality management tools, including control charts, FTA, and FMEA, and with Microsoft Office.
• Practical experience with materials analysis, testing, and chemical analysis equipment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management system auditing.
• Experience with statistical process control, production-data analysis, and defect reduction in high-volume manufacturing.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction is required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of quality technician experience.
• An associate’s or junior college degree in science or engineering.
• Quality technician experience in high-volume manufacturing.
