Analyst II, Security Operations Center

Location: Tempe, hybrid. Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship.

Pay range: $35.16–$58.63 per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor, process, triage, investigate, and respond to security events and alerts.
• Analyze events generated by SIEM systems, endpoints, networks, threat intelligence platforms, employees, third parties, and other sources.
• Use security tools to mitigate active threats and identify technical and functional IT security risks.
• Configure and operate SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Notify management about suspected incidents and document event history, status, and potential impact.
• Support incident responders during escalations and contribute to security strategy, compliance, and roadmap activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a SOC analyst required.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and methods.
• Customer-service orientation and ability to meet expectations within project scope.
• Strong integrity, curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• College degree in an associated field.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Knowledge of Internet protocols and four security controls.
• Professional certification such as GCIH or CySA+.
