Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform advanced malware analysis and extract indicators of compromise for the Threat Intelligence Platform.
• Develop and deploy SOAR automations to accelerate Security Operations Center processes.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Security Intelligence teams to build Agentic capabilities and improve prevention, detection, and threat hunting.
• Develop and tune alerting rules and create new detections for security platforms.
• Serve as an escalation point, act as a team lead, and mentor junior analysts.
• Perform QA responsibilities to ensure thorough analysis and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center or a comparable technical cybersecurity role.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Artificial Intelligence models to enhance SOC capabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience writing Python and working with SOAR platforms.
• Ability to support off-hours escalations.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity attack and defense techniques, MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM platforms, and security detection development.
• Practical knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, AWS, Azure, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, packet analysis, web vulnerabilities, authentication flows, and adversary living-off-the-land techniques.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, GCFR, CEH, GCDA, or a similar cybersecurity certification.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
