Security Analyst - SOC - Sunday - Thursday - 3:00pm EST - 11:30pm EST (Cybersecurity)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL; or Denver, CO. Sunday–Thursday, 3:00pm–11:30pm EST.

Salary: $75,000–$137,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Evaluate, investigate, respond to, and mitigate alerts from SIEM and cybersecurity tools.
• Monitor and analyze security technologies including NGFWs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, WAF, NAC, and EDR.
• Tune SIEM events to reduce false positives and improve detection quality.
• Extract indicators of compromise and behavioral characteristics from malicious samples and implement mitigations.
• Scope security events, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate remediation.
• Provide operational support and contribute security expertise, assessments, controls, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, information security, network security, access control, and security technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and information assurance skills.
• Ability to work in the office in one of the specified United States locations and on the stated Sunday–Thursday schedule.
