Architect Residential Designer (Residential Architecture)

Location: Travel or commuting is required as needed to Daytona Beach, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, the Venice area, and Wesley Chapel, with primary focus on Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, and Wesley Chapel. Residence in Daytona Beach is not required.

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and develop residential architectural designs across multiple product levels.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to create new home designs and product offerings.
• Introduce innovative design concepts and recommend enhancements to existing plans.
• Support prospective homebuyers with customization requests during the home-buying process.
• Coordinate architectural design projects from concept through completion and resolve design issues during construction.
• Review building product submittals, code comments, compliance issues, lot-fit matrices, and construction documents.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant residential design experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Florida Building Code, ADA requirements, and NFPA standards.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM platforms.
• Ability to prepare and maintain floor plans, elevations, system layouts, and other construction documents through engineering submittal.
• Ability to travel or commute to the required Florida locations as needed.
