Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP - Remote

Location: Fully remote within the United States; active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and state prescriptive authority required. Minimum availability is 12 hours per week during after-school hours after 4 pm ET on weekdays or at any time on weekends.

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and diagnostic testing for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing medication management.
• Build trusting therapeutic relationships with patients and families, explain diagnoses and treatment options, and provide continuing support.
• Monitor progress toward care goals, adjust treatment plans, and intervene proactively to protect patient safety.
• Collaborate with psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals on integrated care plans; participate in weekly team and clinical supervision meetings.
• Maintain thorough HIPAA-compliant records of patient meetings, treatment, and progress.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification and at least one year of independent psychiatric practice under licensure.
• Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and state prescriptive authority.
• Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
• Availability for at least 12 hours per week after 4 pm ET on weekdays or during weekends.
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, specialists, and interdisciplinary colleagues.
