Sr. Consultant - Invoice Review (Legal Spend)

Location: Remote within the United States; the posting lists USA-Chicago-IL and requires authorization to work in the United States for any employer.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annually, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver legal invoice review engagements for legal clients.
• Review outside counsel billing data to identify cost-savings opportunities.
• Develop standard and custom data analyses and translate findings into actionable, story-driven client insights.
• Interpret data patterns, subjective information, and incomplete information to make recommendations.
• Collaborate on presentations, sales support materials, and thought leadership content.
• Manage multiple consulting projects simultaneously while developing toward a client-facing leadership role.

Requirements

• JD, Certified Paralegal credential, or a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, Supply Chain, or a similar field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform critical thinking, make effective decisions, and interpret data into actionable insights.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and client-service abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and complete employment eligibility verification.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Comfort with AI and other modern tools.
• Previous exposure to legal billing as a corporate invoice review analyst or law-firm billing coordinator.
• Active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
